The decomposing body of an unidentified man has been found by troops of Operation Ensuring Peace, OPEP, in an deserted constructing behind a main college in Jwakom Village, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama, in a publish on X quoted sources saying that the invention was reported at about 1:40 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2026, prompting troops of Sector 8 OPEP to answer the scene.
Makama defined that the troops confirmed the presence of a decomposing male corpse. Efforts to determine the identification of the deceased had been unsuccessful.
He added, “The corpse was subsequently recovered and handed over to the youth leader of Jwakom for necessary action.”
Makama said that investigations are ongoing to determine the identification of the deceased and decide the circumstances surrounding his demise, whereas authorities are anticipated to take additional motion as extra particulars emerge from the investigation.
