Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, has tendered a public apology to her colleague and former affiliate, Laide Bakare, following her controversial interview.
She made the apology on Tuesday after she was criticised on-line following her response when Laide’s identify was talked about on the Curiosity Made Me Asked podcast.
Speaking amid the backlash in a sequence of posts on Instagram, Eniola, who is just not on good phrases with Laide, bowed to strain and tendered an apology.
While acknowledging her fault, she referred to as for peace between them.
She wrote, “On reflection, I realise my reaction when Laide Bakare’s name was mentioned during my recent interview could have come across as dismissive, and for that, I sincerely apologise.
“Laide, no matter our variations, I select peace and I genuinely want you properly. Joo maa binu (please do not be offended) no negativity. No grudges. Let love lead and peace reigns.”
