The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has recognized two further suspected instances of Ebola virus illness and 53 major contacts.
The Director-General of the NCDC, Jide Idris, disclosed this at a press briefing in Abuja on Sunday.
The improvement brings renewed consideration to surveillance and make contact with tracing efforts as well being authorities work to observe suspected instances and determine individuals who might have been uncovered to the virus.
